Parachutist Ron Kurelo has jumped out of military planes and floated to the ground in countries around the planet. So when the largest tsunami in history struck halfway around the world six years ago, it seemed fitting the Canadian Forces veteran and former cop jumped in to help.
Teaching others about how to get involved when such disasters occur is largely the point of his lecture, which he usually presents to younger audiences at universities and colleges. Ron enjoys sharing his experiences, and lessons he has learned to whoever will listen.
